Did You Know?

Mary MacKillop worked as a teacher and governess from the age of 14 years. Her contact and later collaboration with Father Woods who became the Director of Education in South Australia, led to the founding of the Sisters of St Joseph. In 1867 Mary MacKillop became the Mother Superior of the newly formed Order of the Sisters of St Joseph.

Itinerary

Rome: 13 October

Arrive in Rome
We will meet you at the airport and transfer you by private car to your hotel.
Check into your rooms and take time to rest and relax.
Overnight at the 4 star Hotel Princess or similar.

Rome: 14 October

This morning we will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the Church of St. Ignazio to attend the 10:00am Mass. After the Mass make your own way back to your hotel where we will pick you up for the afternoon Christian Rome Tour.
Overnight at the hotel.

Rome: 15 October

This morning we'll pick you up for your Vatican Museum and St Peter's Basilica Tour.
Afternoon and evening are free.
Overnight at your hotel.

Rome: 16 October

Full day for exploring Rome on your own or shopping.
This evening we will transfer you by private motorcoach to "Dinner with the Tenors" including a 4 course meal, wine and entertainment. Return transfer by private motorcoach to your hotel.
Overnight at your hotel.

Rome: 17 October

This morning we will transfer you to St. Peter's Square to attend the Canonisation Ceremony of Blessed Mary MacKillop.
Overnight at your hotel.

Rome: 18 October

This morning we will transfer you by private car to the airport or you can join our optional 5 day extension tour.
