Contrary to common belief, you can travel in India throughout the year. India sits within the same latitudes as Australia – when you think Kerala (Kochi and Kovalam) in the South, think Darwin or Bali. When you think Delhi in the North, think Brisbane.

The perfect time to visit is between September and May. Personally we love Summer in India. The monsoon is a wonderful experience, tourist numbers are low, and hotel rates are brilliant, but for perfect weather it is hard to ignore the period from October to April.
